Norfolk Studio Tour

"The Norfolk Studio Tour is a unique opportunity for tourists to meet artists, discuss the ideas and inspiration behind their work, and learn more about their process and technique. Self-guided tours are free, and visitors are welcome to stay at each studio for as long as they like. 

The 2015 tour includes 20 studios featuring 32 artists throughout Norfolk. A range of disciplines and media is represented, including painters, sculptors, potters, handmade jewelry, textiles, woodwork, and mixed media, with many subcategories deriving from each. Studios are open from 10am until 5pm each day of the tour."

One of our favourite shows to be a part of, The Guelph Potter's Market showcases amazing potters at the gorgeous Goldie Mill in Guelph. With over 50 potters present, it's a wonderful way to see just how talented and varied the potters here in Ontario are. Some of the proceeds go towards supporting the Guelph Youth Music Centre. My father and I will both have our work present this year, so please come on by and say hello :)

The Guild Sale occurs twice a year at the Dundas Lions Memorial Community Centre, 10 Market Street South, Dundas, Ontario (corner of King and Market Streets).

More than 100 potters sell both functional and decorative clayware during the three day sale. Members take in new work daily and there are always numerous potters available to answer your questions.

Upon entry to the Sale, be sure to fill out a ballot to win one of three wonderful Door Prizes. Your name will also be added to our mailing and you will receive invitations to our Spring and Fall Sales.

  • Admission and parking are always free.
  • More than 10,000 pots on 2 floors and 3 rooms of pottery.
  • Great quiet shopping from 5-8 pm on Saturdays.
  • Wheelchair accessible.
